Full Time ( up to 40 hrs) The purpose of this position is to serve as a representative of the Charles County Department of Health.
You will often be the first line of contact out in the community and must be prepared to answer questions and or provide general information on the services provided by the Department of Health.
This position conducts community outreach to educate the public, promote adherence to current health practices, and collect data for health-related research.
This is a general outreach position, and individuals selected will be prepared to support the outreach efforts of all divisions of the Department of Health.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
60% Community Outreach:
Represents Charles County Department of Health as a friendly face and the first point of contact at various Health Department and Community Events.
Collect data/ administer surveys.
20% Distribution of Health and Educational Materials:
Create and maintain relationships with contacts at community organizations that will serve as points of distribution.
Deliver materials to these contacts as needed.
10% Training and Continued Education:
Complete online and in person trainings as assigned 10% Other Duties as Assigned Job Type:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
